Before the house wakes
There is an hour that belongs to no one. The kettle has not yet been filled, the messages have not yet arrived, and the light comes in sideways, as if it were also deciding whether to begin.
1I used to spend that hour catching up. Now I spend it doing nothing in particular, slowly, on purpose. This book is about what changed.
It began with a cup that went cold because I forgot it was there, and a window I had stopped looking out of.
2The first week was uncomfortable. The second was quieter. By the third, the hour had begun to arrive on its own, a little earlier each day, like a cat that has learned where the warm spot is.

Creators ask
Who is the seller of record?
You are. Payments go to your own Stripe account and you handle VAT and sales tax. A “tax handled” option is planned where Stripe supports it.
Can I sell podcasts and audio?
Audiobooks and AI narration in the reader are available on Creator and Pro, and memberships can include members-only audio. Podcast feeds for members are on the roadmap: vote for them!
Do my buyers need a Gus account?
No. Your buyers are your customers. They get their own accounts on your shop, and their data stays yours.
Can I move my existing site?
Yes. Bring your text and images into the Studio editor, point your domain, and keep your mailing list with import and export.
